A group of friends recently graduated from Delhi University. I am talking about colourful and wonderful characters of Rang Day Basanti. They were just planning a life ahead, but a common cause made them stay together again. Yes I am talking about Rang day Basanti, a masterpiece and land mark creation of Alice Patten, a British filmmaker and the director Rakesh Omprakash. The movie starts with Alice Patten as she was working on movie about freedom fighters under British raj. She requests them to work with her. They all friends took it non serious. They were least interested in stuff like history and politics. But a sudden incident of corruption as one of them was victim of this corruption. He lost his life. They all came together to fight and to take the revenge of their friend s death. The movie is a result of super team work and companionship. The movie makes a connection between past and present and inspired group of friends; who want to fight against corruption prevailing among high officials of governments. And yes they successfully win their cause in unforgettable way. They glorified their roles and characters. The technical aspect of movie is awesome and definitely set an example of its kind of work in Bollywood history. The magical, motivational and inspirational music of A.R. Rehman gave a long lasting life to Rang day Basanti. The movie has meaningful lyrics, wonderful music, inspirational story line, and powerful acting spirit. The coordination among all characters is second to none. On top of all, the brilliance of Amir Khan is hard to explain by words. The movie gives a food for thoughts. A beautiful lesson of movie, Either to accept the situation as it is or take the responsibility to change it.
